About Us
Island Martial Arts is the premier martial arts center serving martial artists on Bainbridge Island and throughout Kitsap County, Washington.

We offer youth and adult classes in Okinawan Kenpo and TaiChi Chuan with an emphasis on character development, increased mental awareness, confidence, concentration, and coordination.

Instructor Virgil Rogers is a Fifth Degree Black Belt (Master Instructor) with over thirty years of martial arts experience. He holds Black Belts in the Shorinryu, Gojuryu, and Taekwondo Systems. He has been teaching martial arts on Bainbridge Island since 1989.

Our classes are taught in an uplifting environment with an attitude of mutual respect.
